Our Mission

At ACG, we are a trauma-informed center committed to promoting the philosophy of recovery by providing accessible, affordable, quality mental health service to adults, adolescents, children, and families in the upstate.

Our Values

  • Respect for the Individual.

We believe that individuals who have a mental illness, who have been victims of trauma, or who experience severe emotional distress, are misunderstood and often stigmatized. Every individual, regardless of age, gender, race, sexual orientation or mental health status is entitled to be treated with dignity and respect. At ACG, we are committed to the philosophy that we exist for the client.

  • Commitment to Quality.

ACG is committed to providing trauma-informed, quality mental health care for adults, adolescents, children and their families, utilizing a service system that emphasizes trust, respect, confidentiality, and compassion.

  • Dedication to Public Awareness.

At ACG, we believe that community awareness of mental illness is vital to a healthy community. ACG will, as resources permit, provide education to the public in an effort to increase understanding and decrease the stigma often attached to individuals with mental health problems.
